Turn on Roblox Shift Lock before you practice. Abilities line up with the camera, which matters as soon as a Stand has a projectile or a dash attack.
Default keyboard
| Action | Key | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Move | WASD | Walk and aim your dash |
| Toggle run | Left Ctrl | Switch between walk and run |
| Dash | Left Alt | Reposition. Dash with W, A, S, or D |
| Block | Hold F | Cut damage. A timed tap parries some attacks |
| Pose | P | Large regeneration bonus while you hold the pose |
| Punch | Left click | Basic melee |
| Heavy punch | Right click | Slower hit used as a combo ender |
| Summon or dismiss Stand | Q | Needs a Stand |
A controls guide also lists walk speed 16 and run speed 32. Treat those as reported defaults, not a patch promise. The same guide says posing multiplies regeneration by about 3.8. Use the pose only after you make distance.
Block rules that show up in real fights
- Blockable hits stop on a held block.
- A block break puts you in a short stun. One write-up times that stun at about 2 seconds.
- Some moves ignore block. Time stop follow-ups and a few boss swings are in that group, so do not stand still in block forever.
- A parry is a block pressed at the end of the attacker's windup. It stuns them. If your timing is late you just block.
Holding block slows you down. If your block health breaks, let go and press F again after the stun instead of eating the next string.
Habits worth drilling
Do not open with your barrage unless the target is already stunned or almost dead. The recovery is a free punish.
Heavy moves and ultimates have a sound cue. Block when you hear the line, not when the animation finishes.
Save the dash for the move you cannot block. Using it to close a gap, then eating a block break, is the usual new-player loss.
Below one third health, movement is slowed so you cannot run a fight out forever. Pose-tap only when the other player has to cover ground.
Stand skills use their own keys once the Stand is summoned. Those keys depend on the Stand, so read that Stand's tree instead of memorizing someone else's layout.
Early skill points
One controls guide suggests maxing Agility (8 points), taking Sturdiness to level 2 (3 points), maxing health regeneration (10 points), and stopping Vitality around level 8 (13 points) so the Stand still gets points. Those costs are from a single guide. If your tree shows different prices, follow the tree. The safe part is the order: movement and regeneration before you dump every point into damage.
